Cancellation Policy

At Beyond Tufts, every cat is treated with patience, kindness and respect. Our priority is to provide a calm, low-stress grooming experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and welfare. Consultation & Pricing Every appointment begins with a consultation to assess your cat's coat, health, temperament and grooming needs. Prices are estimates and may vary depending on coat condition, behaviour and the time required. Any additional charges will be discussed where reasonably possible before completing the groom. Bookings & Cancellations A deposit is required to secure your appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the deposit being retained. At our discretion, the deposit may be transferred to a future appointment. Arrival Please arrive on time, transport your cat in a secure carrier, allow them to toilet beforehand and avoid feeding within two hours of the appointment where possible. Late arrivals may result in a shortened or rescheduled appointment. Health & Welfare Please inform us of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, recent veterinary treatment or behavioural concerns before your appointment. We reserve the right to modify, refuse or discontinue grooming if we believe it would compromise your cat's welfare or the safety of our staff. Nails may be trimmed where safe and appropriate. Matted Coats Severely matted coats may need to be clipped for your cat's comfort and welfare. Removing matting may reveal underlying skin conditions or irritation. By proceeding, you authorise Beyond Tufts to remove matting using the safest and most humane method. Additional charges may apply. Fleas & Veterinary Care If fleas or other external parasites are found, a biosecurity surcharge of £15 will apply to cover the additional cleaning, sanitation and time required. Grooming may need to be modified, shortened or postponed until treatment has been completed. In an emergency, if we cannot contact you, you authorise us to seek veterinary treatment on your behalf. Any veterinary fees remain the owner's responsibility. Photography Photos and videos may be taken for grooming records, social media and marketing. If you do not wish your cat's photographs to be used for these purposes, please let us know before your appointment.
